Spring Unfolding

Okay, so it is only a Crocus! However, I have had a blog since July of 2006, and every year, I have photographed Crocuses as they appeared.

It seems in checking out blog photos, the earliest Crocus appeared March 22. Now, the Crocus featured today isn't technically "blooming", but I am sure it soon will be. And the date is March 12! (I also realize people living in towns have already posted photos of Crocuses wide open, but we live in higher elevations where it is a bit colder)

Yes, it really doesn't take a whole lot to excite me....
