S-21

Its hard to believe this place used to be a school. After the Khmer took control of Cambodia back in 1975, this school became Security Center 21. The place of course is know known for being part of the murder machine that saw the end of thousands of innocent peoples lives.
Another shocking fact i learned is that when the Vietnamese forced the Khmer Rouge out of the country most western governments, including the UK and US still recognized the Khmer Rouge as the legitimate government!

Probably the most moving part of S-21 nowadays is the halls filled with thousands of photos of the people who passed through here, the faces of the passed staring back at you. These people should never be forgotten.
