Needless to say,

Holly didn't remember this.

Coming out of a full 9-5 day of lectures into brilliant sunshine, on a Friday evening, compelled me to buy some beers, sit in the Meadows and pretend it was summer. I managed to persuade Sean out from the language labs (Meg and Joel were playing hard-ball), but by the time we got to the meadows the sun was behind a bank of cloud, with a wind cutting its way though the tree litter.

We stayed out of principle for a few minutes before we decided that we looked like alcoholics (we'd even chosen their favourite bench) and moved back to the flat.

Baked potatoes with beans with Meg and Joel, had some... interesting conversations and a few drinks before we headed to various parties / home.

I headed off to Holly's 20th, where I only knew her and one other person, and so danced like a fool, drunk on anonymity; and alcohol. At one point I realised I was the only guy dancing, with about 12 girls, to Beyoncé, and that they were by and large all geographers. Anonymity shattered, I continued, but have to admit a little more self-concious.
