My Newest...Friend

It's blurry. Rats. But I didn't have a choice. I may as well not have taken any other photos today, because this was my day.

And I had a good day! A great day, even. I had a few hours to roam about Pittsburgh, PA today. Just me. Just the city.

Highlights: Fascinating architecture, the feeling of independence at exploring an unfamiliar city on my own, neighboring churches with an unassuming and beautiful graveyard between them, interactive art exhibits with a most intriguing curator, flattering elevator company("You have a very glamorous, old Hollywood look about you."), lovely little boutiue selling clothes I can't afford(the inspiration is free, though), vibrant coffee shop, vibrant new friend.

I use the term, "friend," quite loosely (hence the ellipses in the title), as I think that "friend" does not adeuately describe this man.

I am of the belief that if, within the first few moments of meeting a new person, he says to you, "you have a wonderful(I think that's the word he used) demeanor," then it might be a little something more than a new friend. And if the phrases, "you are amazing," and, "you have enriched(I think) my spirit," then it is most certainly something deeper than a new friend.

He is my blip today because he made me feel special and beautiful, which are rare feelings for which I am grateful to anyone who evokes them.
