Reflected Tree

Lacking inspiration during a tedious day at work I headed back to the canal. A bit of a panic as there was no wildlife and no boats; Theale on a grey day has no attraction for boaters or ducks. I remembered seeing this tree before, it has still to bud up so is very effective against a grey sky. With the still water it is reflected wonderfully.
I have tried to get the green on each bank to act as a contract to the lack of colour in the sky and water. It just about comes off.
