It Rains Here

Just a nostalgic blip for those who live in the drought ridden south.

This is called a hosepipe - when you switch it on water comes out and you can use it to wash cars, water gardens, wash windows, make kids scream etc etc.

You may remember them (but you may not soon)

It rains a lot here so the chances of a hosepipe ban had better be VERY low.

Why is it that one of the wettest conntries in Europe has to have hosepipe bans. Obviously there are certain technical factors that I am not aware of otherwise I wouldn't ask such a daft question!!
