Duddingston Village

A little Hamlet on the edge of Edinburgh,s Holyrood park, "the village" claims the oldest pub in Scotland (Sheeps Heid) and just on the left of this photo the house where in 1745 Bonnie!! Prince Charlie held his war council (actually they all got drunk) prior to the Battle of Prestonpans (which he won) and continued to march south to Derby.
