Dreaming.
Dreaming is your subconscious mind speaking up and seeing the things you're too afraid to face when you are awake. So how come we remember only some of our dreams instead of forgetting them all or remembering them all?
I believe that the dreams we forget are the ones that aren't the most important to us or interesting in that matter. Or maybe it's because we have had some harsh or scary feelings that we are still not willing to face. It makes sense that the mind is protecting you from your deepest inner thoughts that may not be on the surface most of the time but are usually hiding behind the issues you usually can conquer or want to conquer.
I don't understand this whole dreaming thing and I don't know if I ever will but there are answers or questions that you build up for so long that have no other escape than in your mind when you aren't thinking.
It's like they are sneaking out of the house when no one is looking. They leave little trails of what they are but never enough to completely discover the truth. Why do we sometimes see things so clear and other times the objects are completely masked?
These books leave us asking more and more questions and make us more curious than the way we started out. We start fitting the puzzle together but there is still so much to discover. We link together the pieces we remember, the symbols we find but we look passed all the tiny details.
My goal for this year is to finally take control of my dreams and understand the messages my brain us trying to pass to me.
