A Room with a View

So today was a strange success/failure.

We took an hour-long subway ride to get our Alien Residency Cards.. we had everything lined up... passports, school registration printouts, contracts, color photos... only to find out that we needed our medical tests done first. So now we have to find out how to get medical tests done.

It's a crazy rigmarole we got going on here. To get the internet and cellphones we need a bank account, to get a bank account we need an alien residency card, to get an alien residency card we need a medical test.

sigh... its enough to make a dude just want to sit back and look at the awesome view from outside his window.
