Arum: A White Room

Spent some time today in a meditative state here in the Suter Art Gallery, enjoying this "installation" by local artist, Anne Rush.

It's called 'Arum: A White Room' and the peacefulness and tranquility of being in a totally white environment was quite beautiful.

And when I say I spent some time here in a 'meditative state', I really do mean it! Part of the exhibition included a 30 minute meditation with a former Buddhist monk who added to the artists creation by taking people through a simple meditation process.

It was a gallery experience with a difference - a very pleasant difference indeed.
