Just chicken stirfry for tea. Today I have been having some payroll training...finally!! Only had this job for over 2 years....
Anyway my manager came to speak to me and i thanked him for sorting the training out and he said that although I'm inexperienced now, the long term idea is that i take over payroll after the current manager retires. He will be retiring in the next couple if years, I spoke to personnel who said it is an excellent opportunity for me. The salary is nearly £40,000! I just have to make sure the training continues. We are merging soon and having a new system which both the old guys in.payroll atm will struggle to get to grips with . The current system is so old, its older than me and only one person in the country knows how to fix it if there's a problem!
