Oriental Dolls

Although just a few inches high I do love these little dolls. The girl is from Kyoto in Japan where young women learn to be a Geisha who will entertain guests at business meetings and parties with music,song and dance.
The baby boy doll comes from Wohan on the Yangtze River. Families are only allowed one child in China and it if is a boy he is known as a ' Little Emperor.'
