The Fair City of Perth

Perth was given city status - again - today as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations. Congratulations to Chelmsford and St Asaph, who have also been named as cities.

There have been rumours and inklings for a while, especially as it was recently announced that the Queen would be visiting Perth in July - clearly not just a coincidence!
