First blossom

I went right to the farthest point of the Pipe Hall Woodland - into Jubilee Wood. The bluebells will be terrific when they all bloom. The ground was a carpet with their bright green leaves.

It may have been glorious weather and temperatures have been mild, but there was not a great deal blooming. A clump of daffodils and snowdrops by one of the benches which is in memory of a regular dog walker - and a few isolated daffodils where they have been deliberately planted.

But just close to the entrance, one of the trees has just started to blossom.
