Just a thought.....

I was in town today, and this war memorial caught my eye, it was there years before i was born as it covers 1914- onwards.
When i was a boy this memorial was given a coat of bronze tinted varnish every 2 years and was the town centre piece. It hasnt been done for some time now, in fact only some names have been added.
I know its not the official rememberence day but ithought id share this with you all simply because the way i see it, every days a rememberence day for someone and in this world we live in today its still a daily happening.
The price we pay for our heating, petrol, and mortgages seems little compared to the price some people have paid........and still are!
