Community land Scotland Annual Conference

For the last couple of days I have been at the Community Land Scotland Conference in Tobermory. It has been wonderful, inspiring, challenging. The vibrancy of the community organisations attending has been astonishing. The engagement of the various agencies, both funding and governmental was encouraging. And the organisation itself, led by David Cameron and enabled by Peter Peacock is evidently a force to reckoned with in policy circles. I left feeling that anything is possible, and that community ownership of assets is absolutely critical for sustainability in rural Scotland.
