Day Out

Travelled to Lincoln today - hence the blip of the inside of the Cathedral.

The outside is undergoing major restoration work, much of it involving repairing and replacing stone work, which is really intricate and detailed. It is a truly magnificent building with the most amazing stonework.

Much of the surrounding landscape is flat and agricultural - I'm thinking I could quite like walking here - but I think I'd miss the hills eventually!
