Those were the days.......

............when the cost of buying fuel was recorded in shillings and pence! If you can't believe there was ever such a time here is a close up of the pump's face. This wonderful piece of nostalgic engineering is in a farmyard.

Another day when there were plenty of opportunities for images, soft, subtle lighting for most of the day.

Of course I spent most of it in fornt of a computer. At lunch time I had my biennual eye test; new prescription for using VDUs! At least my long sight is still OK.
