Bolton Abbey

One of our friends who we met through Onehunga Playcentre is now living near Bolton Abbey in a cute wee village. We spent the morning and lunch with them having a picnic on the grounds of the Abbey. It was lovely to see the kids playing together like they've been life long friends, although they haven't seen each other since the Eldest was 3.

Hopefully we'll get to catch up with them when they are over in April. They did offer us the use of their beautiful home while they are away for the month, but unfortunately work commitments wouldn't agree with that. Imagine having the use of a glorious 4 bedroom house, in a beautiful location for free, and having to say "No thanks".
