Misty

We spent a good day with friends who came around for lunch. The weather was dull and cold so we lit the fire and had a blazing log fire to greet them.

We made vegetable lasagne and sausages in puff pastry, accompanied by steamed green beans and garlic bread, washed down by a very acceptable red wine. Lovely grub!

After lounging by the fire for a while after lunch the weather started improving and the dog made it obvious he wanted his afternoon walkies; so we dragged ourselves out for a stroll around Shottery.

Shottery Fields were emerging from the mist and, of course, I had my camera with me. There were also oldie worldie cottages draped with pink and white blossoms, plus a nice horse in the paddock by the allotments. So a choice of blipfotos; I decided on the misty fields.
