liquid helium

today was my last day at work. so it was very fitting that on my way around to the front of the building this morning, i saw these two scientists dumping a vat of liquid helium. the woman tried to explain to me that they dropped something inside. she must have noticed the funny looks, but really i was just amused.

later today, i had my last german meal: a doener kebab and a crepe with banana and nutella. delicious!

i went to a fair today that is celebrating the opening of a new museum in frankfurt. the whole time, though, i just thought about the people i know back home and how much they would enjoy this stand or that music or such and such art piece.

i'm ready to go home
