Chain of Events

managed to get away from work at 10 past 5, nip home and get into town again in time for the Blipfoto Cycle Club.

All went well, an initial very short burst of energy was put paid to by a big slippy gear event. I should have known, because when I took off at the Portobello big roundabout the chain snapped. Right through a link, in two. Thanks wingpig for shining some light on the situation as I fixed it. The result is a bit stiff, and now a bit short, so I used the resulting clinky grinding as my excuse for coming home up Leith Walk and Liberton Brae very slowly indeed. Too lazy to fix it on the way home or tonight.
