Day 74 - Hidden Away

This is St Austins RC Church. Its hidden away amongst the traditional terrace houses in Wakefield City Centre. If you didnt know it was there you would walk straight passed. When I first moved up to Wakefield I had never seen what i would class as a "modern" church. I had grown up with traditional village style churches. I remember the first day we went, we walked right past and had to ask for directions as we just didnt see it.

St Austins is the church both my boys were baptised in. It is a lovely church and lovely community.
