My new studio lights and backdrops arrived today. So I had to get them set up and play. I discovered that the backdrop is much wider than I anticipated - I can only use it half extended at home - and that there isnt really room in my small kitchen for 2 softboxes. That said, I had actually been going for a side-lit, lightly shadowed effect with this shot, so using a reflector I got sufficient light to the non-lit side, and was reasonably happy with the end product. I want new skin retouching software now though - the lights show up every single detail.
