The Only Brick Houses In The Village.

This was the only photo I took today.

After taking it I got the dreaded 'card full' message and I do not delete away from home so this is the blip.

On a visit to the beautiful village of Hutton Buscel I was enjoying the rich variety of buildings, old and new, small and large, unchanged and sensitively adapted, when it dawned on me that every single building was of stone or rendered construction.

Over 200 properties, built over hundreds of years, and not a brick in sight.

Until I wandered up a lane leading out of the village and found these two semis.

The only brick houses in the village.
