My new studio equipment arrived yesterday, or at least the startings of it - 2 soft boxes, backdrop frame with both black and white backdrops and a way bigger than expected reflector. I didnt get it set up until late last night but couldnt resist playing, so I made a fairly rare appearance in my own journal for starters.

But I had left everything set up with of course only one intention this morning. And she was happily intrigued by it all. She sat and lined her friends up for some photos, and investigated the soft box a little, saying "oooh mummy's new lights". I'm not totally happy with the set up yet, but I'm enjoying relearning something I havent done in a long time. I dont often say it, but I think this one is better viewed large.

A nursery day today. A normal, non-event one today, which is a bit of a rarity at the moment, there seems to be a lot going on, what with book day, pyjama day and 2days next week with a "behind the scenes", informal photographer. They seem to be really putting the effort in now the better weather is here to get more out of it. When Katie first started, I'd been told to frequent walks to the animals, which they did on Monday, and walks to the Post Room, which they did yesterday and they've done some nice creative stuff too.

Hopefully Granny and Grandad may join us for tea later on, we'll see
