Town from the Rooftops
Was teaching at the new Bracknell and Wokingham College tonight. I say new - it is 2 years old now - but still feels like a brand new building.
I am pretty privileged I must admit - I am allowed access onto the 6th floor roof with my students to shoot. If you were studying Spanish or economics - you wouldn't get that opportunity!
It was a beautiful evening, very clear, not too cold. The stars were out and the building lights were glistening.
I didn't take my camera with me tonight (dammit!) as I try not to be taking photos - I want to be helping the students. I did however take a panoramic pic on my iPhone app - Photosynth - and stitched it together. It isn't the clearest image on the iPhone, my SLR would have given some stunning results, but it does give you an idea of how nice the evening was.
Day time was spent networking and marketing! I went to a local networking meeting which was good and then off to Starbucks for the obligatory morning latte. I do miss working at Heathrow for that reason - coffee on tap and free majority of the time!! The rest of the day was spent designing marketing material for the new courses. Must say - enjoying the self employed lifestyle at the moment!
