A Very Special Day

Our neighbours Natalia, Dilys and Luis are moving out at the end of this week so we invited them round for tea. But it was no ordinary tea.

For a start we had a gorgeous ajiaco - the delicious Colombian dish that is a treat for anyone.

We had choclate cup cakes and paths of lolly pops for Natalia to follow.

On top of that we had a room full of hundreds of pink balloons (pictured), some filled with presents which Natalia had to find and then pop to get the presents out. However many she found she still wanted more! She loved it and was very pleased.. She said the "Today is a very special day"

She also got to dance to her favourite CD by Charlie and Lola.

There was a slight hiccup when she banged her head on the table and made an egg sized lump popped up (I was in the other room, so nothing to do with me! (It normally is)). All this was forgotten when JLS, Everybody In Love came on the stereo, she went super crazy and wanted to do her special dance with her Dad :-)

We then listened to JLS another 20 times at least while eating cup cakes and ice cream :-)

And if that wasn't enough Natalia took the 'plane home, as can be seen in yesterday's Blip.

What a special day indeed :-)
