Can you tell it's Saturday?

I obviously had time on my hands so it must be the weekend :-) it has been a glorious day again today but I've been a busy bee around the house doing chores ( especially the washing which had to take advantage of the fine weather) So i didn't go wandering off into the countryside for a blip. I had an idea anyway to show the move from winter to spring on my Hydrangea plants. I didn't prune in the autumn and so I have new growth and old heads together. The pictures though seemed a bit dull ( the green shoots looked great but the dead heads, well they looked dead!) So I played with filters in Photoshop. Now I am hopeless in photoshop and rarely use it but this one worked for me because purples are some of my favourite colours. Plus it's what colour the Hydrangea will eventually be :-)
