Parent's evening

I worked from home today as I had to visit a student who's out on placement. It was another glorious day without a cloud in the sky. I picked up daughter #2 from school. I saw my friend Sally at the school gates and I invited her round for a drink. We sat in the garden and the kids had an ice cream.
At 4.20pm, we had a parent's consultation at daughter #1's school. The teacher is really pleased with her and she is doing so well.
My son called at 6pm wanting to be picked up from school. He'd been playing rugby away from school. He's feeling a bit battered so I sent him to bed early.
