blagdon cattle oversee the entrance

Blagdon Hall, home of the Ridleys in Northumberland. Well I was cycling home and short of a blip for the day. The light was fading as was time.

White cattle are a speciality in Northumberland although I'm not sure these are meant to represent the Chillingham wild cattle

The scientist and author, Matt Ridley is the heir to Blagdon but I don't know if he lives here
