Who'd a' thought it?

All my life I've naively assumed that all the different time zones were in multiples of a whole hour. Went for the ubiquitous brew in one of our favourite watering holes. (They do a damfine all-day breakfast, trouble is you have to pay if you want Black pud.)
I've seen the P.M.T. many a time (NO ladies I mean Penrith Mean Time) but hadn't noticed the Delhi discrepancy, until today that is.
Didn't want to appear any more of a pillock than usual so didn't ask if it was
A) Going.
B) Correct.
So I checked when we got home. Just done it again, it's 12:17 here
and Friday, March 16, 2012 at 5:47:30 AM IST in Delhi. So there ...SORTED.
