Long Weekend this weekend..........Lucky me......!!

Kicked it off by leaving work at 5.30 this morning, making a bee line for Ivy Lake at Chichester where i fluffed my Crested Grebe shot 2 weeks ago.

It was a lot cooler this morning than it has been lately, unfortunately i forgot to take my gloves, hands were like block of ice after quarter of an hour.........

All the usual suspects put in an appearance, plus one or two i'd never seen before.

It was nice to finally get the heater on in the car on the way home, shame about the crawling traffic around Chichester, not to mention the bottle kneck that is the A27 from Fareham down into Gosport.

The morning hit a high point when i got home and Bev had a hot cup of tea waiting along with a bacon sandwich with lashings of brown sauce on.......................

Then there was the customary copying of the memory card to the hard drive........
Open up the FastStone programme on the computer, and offer a quick prayer that the shots i really wanted won't be too blurred..........

BINGO................!!
