In memory of!
On my way to Inverness for a works meeting. As I was driving through Glencoe I saw this incongruous group of people struggling up the mountainside, dressed for the town rather than the hillside. I pulled in to watch them as they kept sliding about and I thought one of them was going to take a header into the burn. After they crossed the burn I noticed that one of the ladies was carrying a flower (I was actually using my binos at this point) They then huddled in a wee tight group with the women supporting eachother and I saw a guy reading from a book while another was holding what looked like a box.
Then it dawned on me, they were having some sort of memorial service. At that point I felt I was intruding so said a silent prayer and went on my way.
