Nelson

Bad image I know, but not much I could do. Nelson's uniform is on temporary display in a rather dark lit and small exhibition room at the National Maritime Museum.

Nevertheless, I was just fascinated with the uniform he wore during his last battle at Trafalgar. Even the hole in the uniform (to the right of the top button) where the fatal bullet entered in the left shoulder is visible and the white silk lining is heavily blood stained.

So much still to discover.
