Another day, another storm

It's Sunday. Late winter.

The ocean-facing side of the house was ripped out to permit new glass doors to be installed two weeks ago. And, despite the temporary shuttering the builders have erected, me 'n the Mrs reckon we've been cold for a fortnight as there is no heating on in the house; there's not much point!

Since then and almost without a break, the Atlantic has been throwing this kind of weather at us. Today, the wind has shifted from the NW to SW and is driving the rain along at 40km/h.

The ocean looks grey, foreboding and not a place to be messing about.
