Iris

Just for a change, it's rained today. I'm not sure how many Sundays have been wet ones recently but it feels like quite a lot :(

With spring officially beginning tomorrow I wanted to try to lift not only my own spirits but the weather spirits too, hence this beautiful flower a friend gave to me last week.

I have a few days of relief over the next couple of weeks - it will be good to earn something but if the sun does happen to grace us I'm sure I'd rather be out and about enjoying it! I have quite a few walks in mind - some short, some a bit longer. And I feel another Golden Bay break creeping up on me!
