The art of the chimney

This was once the chimney for a pumping station that extracted water for Perth from the Tay. I suppose the urn on the top was a vain attempt to disguise the chimney as a work of art.

The pumping station is now an art gallery dedicated to JD Fergusson and Margaret Morris. So you could say it's now a work of art disguised as a chimney.
