Woodloch Sunset

This doesn't even come close to catching the splendor of the sunset tonight at the farm.

Beautiful ride around the track and through the woods. Everything I imagined last night would have been had I generated the energy to get into saddle, tonight fulfilled.

My friend Kris's horse, Scout, foundered last night. After my ride, I helped her clean his stall and put down an extra layer of bedding. We were both relieved to see him moving freely around the stall with no apparent pain. He is on two weeks stall rest and then a slow transition back to the pasture.

It was good to finish the evening sitting by the trailer having a cold beer.
