Seen better days

The tiles at the entrance to The Mercat in Haddington have seen better days - -but a fair few of us know what that's like and I'd much rather visit an old fashioned, characterful bar with real history than an off-the-shelf stye bar any day.

I love the fan mosaic effect that's repeated on the tiles although obviously I wouldn't discuss something as poncy as that that once I was actually in the bar.
