Back to the land of the living!
The past three day I have been laid up with a migraine again ( I thought I was over these!!) I have backblipped the last few days - not really anything to look at except for little Georgie of course who faithfully lay beside me in bed. Fortunately once my migraines pass I am back to normal fairly quickly so it will be all systems go tomorrow, which is just as well since our Japanese student has arrived and we want to take him sightseeing.
This is a detail shot of a beautiful fan he brought as a gift amongst other lovely treasures!
He is a nice young man and we are all enjoying having him around. Jack and Joe and Masayuki are due to return soon from a trip into Melbourne, having caught the train this morning. Jack has been keeping me posted via the phone. They have visited the Victoria market, had lunch at Pellegrinis, been to the top of the Eureka tower, seen St Pauls cathedral, participated in some magical busking event. What fun! I wish I could have been with them! I love the fact that they can safely go and have an adventure such as this in the city. They'll come through the door soon and I cant wait to hear more of their escapades.
Well, thats all from me folks. I hope to look at journals later tonight. Have a brilliant weekend!
