I really have been spoiled for choice today for blips. I passed on the junior triathlon because tomorrow will be such a big day and it was pouring with rain and a dear friend from NZ is staying today.

We did however pop out this afternoon to check on Surfest. The competition was over for the day but there was still some excellent surfers out at Merewether beach. Kite surfers were really putting on a show at Dixon Park and these BMXers were on a half hoop thingy near Merewether beach. I came back to get these shots but the light was not so good. This particular guy was really good and did a loop the loop. Unfortunately it ended in a crash and burn and despite not wearing a helmet, he was completely uninjured and got up and did more flying.
