Hanami

Our local park is bounded by old Cherry Trees, and the first one has just come into blossom. They are a fantastic sight once they are all in bloom. I can understand why the Japanese have a special festival for the celebration of cherry blossom.. The festival is called Hanami which means viewing flowers, in particular cherry blossom viewing. I think my life is one long Hanami!
