This orchid has taken a long time to bloom - I think I've had it about seven years, and it's probably been about four to six years since the last time it bloomed. It's always been sickly and it's only recently that it has shaped up into a reasonably healthy plant.

I say "I think" because these blooms look nothing like what I remember (they're actually much prettier - I've wanted an orchid that looks like this!). So the true origins of this orchid are something of a mystery.
