The Maintenance Sheds
These were the sheds where the the WW2 Torpedo boats were repaired. They would drop the rudder into a rudder pit outside the shed and then be winched into the shed for repairs.
Some of my earlier blips related to the Dunkirk little ships and this is where the work was done to renovate them.
My launch was also in here a couple of years ago for repairs.
It reminds me of an old hardware shop. It is absolutely chaotic and a mess everywhere. Somehow the team who work here know where everything is!
I love the tunnel effect that the light gives
