Just came across these that C must have bought before going to NY.

They look like shrimps to me, that as far as remember are about 4 a penny.

There are about 40 (being generous) in this jar so let's say 10p.

So despite the evidence of the lid, I would call £2.99 an increase rather than a reduction. I think only the queen ever bought them for £5..
