Happy St Patrick's Day

These are the emerging leaves of Acer japonica.

It has been a gorgeous sunny spring day.

As we always do on St. Patrick's day we planted the maincrop potatoes, this time with our young grandson's help it was done much more quickly than usual.

After lunch we went into town to watch the parade.
