Saw these 2 magpies in the garden and took this photo through the kitchen window hence the poor shot. They are very nervous birds and the slightest movement makes them disappear so It took me ages to get a few shots.

Hopefully the rhyme will come true tomorrow and The Magpies - Newcastle United - will have a good result against Norwich. Not going to the match but I will listen on the radio.

Had a delivery of flowers this afternoon - a Mothers Day gift from my daughter. They may well be my blip tomorrow.

Been a bit of a chilly day today - - and then it rained. Cookie was here for a while this afternoon. Hope its a better day tomorrow.
