Heavy weather

Cornwall can get slightly damp. Even my brother who lives there says it's a damp climate - and he should know. Imagine what it's like when we are having the worst August on record.
It was about this time we began to get an unpleasant smell in the tent. We all washed regularly so ruled that out. I was convinced we'd pitched the tent on a turd. What it turned out to be was this lovely wet weather turning the underside of our ground sheet into a perfect small-scale anaerobic silage production facility.
Short of moving the tent we have to live with it - great.
