Birthday tea

Today we have been in Bristol to celebrate my sister in law's 50th birthday - with tea and cake of course.

We had our own space in the tea room section of a vintage clothes / second hand book / tea shop called Cox and Baloney - I'd highly recommend a visit - wondrous to explore and the friendliest staff i've met in a long time.

The boys were beautifully behaved and came away with a book chosen and with the chance to play vinyl records too.

Some more recommendations - the hotel we are staying is cheap, clean, modern, free wifi, a bar and a Starbucks - The lodge in the park - no weekend food so we walked to the local Toby. The fresh air hasn't tired them just yet. Hubby is on half hourly red wine room service trips.
